Balikbayan Box in Transit to the Philippines
I am quite happy to know that the Balikbayan boxes I sent to my family in the Philippines through Forex last month is already in transit. I was able to track my boxes in their website using the receipt numbers I have. All I have to do is enter the 9-digit code. I like that Forex has this tool of tracking Balikbayan boxes. That way, a sender like me gets a heads up of the status of the Balikbayan boxes that we sent. It always gives us the assurance that our family and friends at home will receive the things that we sent them. My family should be able to receive our presents on the 3rd or last week of August. Also, I noticed that on Forex website it says that once the recipient got the boxes, they take pictures and upload it on their website. So, whenever I track my boxes again and the status is already "delivered," I will be able to see the pictures that they took of with a family member of mine. The picture will serve as a confirmation of the delivery. That's actually cool. We'll see if it's really true since it's my first time to send Balikbayan boxes through Forex.
